OFFICIAL CONGU HANDICAP

INCLUDED IN THE MASHIE MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION

The MASHIE Members CLUB

Members receive a FREE official CONGU handicap as part of the membership subscription. 

MASHIE is the only online golf club to provide an official CONGU handicap for all Members.

MASHIE Golf Club uses Handicap Master to manage handicaps for members competitions.  We also have a handicap committee that meets to discuss new member handicap allocation and to review any exceptional scoring by Members.

NEW MASHIE MEMBERS WHO ALREADY HAVE A CONGU HANDICAP

New Members with an existing handicap transferring to the MASHIE Membership should ensure they send their CDH number to the Membership Manager.

The following applies to MASHIE Members wishing to keep an official CONGU handicap;

1. Members are obliged to return their card after every MASHIE Event regardless of the score so we can add them to our digital scoring system
   
   
2. Members should ensure that away scores are correctly reflected on their handicap record
   
   
3. Reductions to handicap or expected reductions to handicap apply immediately after the competition played by the Member
   
   
4. Increases to handicap (0.1) apply only after the competition result has been reported to the club

MASHIE MEMBERS WHO WOULD ​LIKE TO
​REGISTER AN OFFICIAL CONGU HANDICAP

New Members without a current handicap must submit 3 x cards before an official handicap can be allocated.

​The following applies to any cards submitted for handicap allocation.

1. The Member must play Heythrop Park Golf Course from the white distance markers
   
   
2. The cards submitted must be from 3 x 18-hole rounds.
   
   NOTE: Each MASHIE Member receives 3 complimentary rounds of 18 holes at Heythrop Park as part of the membership subscription, which can be used to obtain your handicap (or to use socially if you already have one). Please ask your Membership Manager for more details
   
   
3. The card must be signed by a golfer who played the round with you and they must have a current CONGU handicap (your Membership Manager can help with this if needed)
   
   
4. Cards should be sent digitally to the MASHIE Membership Manager or handed into the golf office at Heythrop Park Golf Club after each round.
   
   
5. Once 3 cards have been submitted they will be reviewed and an appropriate handicap awarded. You will also receive a CDH number.
